Crafted with a heavy cotton canvas outer shell, this garment withstands continuous abrasive wear against metal armour. Inside, double-layered quilted channels contain a dense wadding of recycled wool, cotton, and polyester fibres. This internal blend buffers heavy blows while maintaining breathability during long garrison duty or heated summer skirmishes. Vertical stitch lines secure the padding evenly across the torso, preventing shifting or flat spots under pressure.

Every feature is tailored for period accuracy and practicality. A raised padded collar shields your neck from chafing coifs and heavy gorgets, while the full-length fabric button closure ensures a firm, period-accurate fit without rigid metal buckles. Available in ecru and black across sizes Small to XXXL, it serves equally well as stand-alone protection for archers or as a foundational underlayer beneath a steel breastplate.
