2. Product Specifications & Usage

• Historical Authenticity & Handcrafted Nature: Many of our items (including leatherwork, steel armour, chainmail, and textiles) are hand-forged or hand-crafted. Minor variations in finish, colour, weight, and dimensions may occur and are a natural characteristic of historical reproductions.
• Intended Use: Our products are designed for living history, re-enactment, theatrical staging, and LARP (Live Action Role Play).
• Safety & Responsibility: Battle Worlds accepts no liability for personal injury, damage, or misuse resulting from improper handling, combat, or wear of our weapons, armour, or hardware. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure equipment complies with safety standards required by their specific venue or event organisers.

3. Orders & Pricing

• Pricing: All prices listed on the site are in GBP (£). We reserve the right to modify prices at any time without prior notice.
• Order Acceptance: Receiving an order confirmation email does not guarantee final acceptance of an order. We reserve the right to cancel or limit order quantities in cases of pricing errors, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent transactions.
• Delivery Promotions: Free delivery applies automatically at checkout on orders exceeding £50 (UK Mainland standard delivery only, unless stated otherwise).

4. Delivery & Shipping

• We aim to dispatch orders promptly within our operating business hours (Mon–Fri, 9am–5pm).
• Estimated shipping times are guidelines provided by courier services and are not guaranteed. Battle Worlds is not responsible for delays caused by postal carriers or customs clearance.
• For international orders, the recipient is responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, or clearance fees imposed by customs authorities.

5. Returns, Refunds & Cancellations

• Right to Cancel: Under UK Consumer Rights legislation, you have the right to cancel and return your order within 14 days of receiving your items for a full refund (excluding custom/personalised goods).
• Return Conditions: Items must be returned in their original, unused condition with all original tags and packaging intact. Returned items showing signs of wear, field use, or modifications will not be accepted.
• Return Location: Approved returns must be shipped to our designated returns facility in Driffield, East Yorkshire. Please contact quartermaster@battleworlds.co.uk before returning any goods to receive complete return instructions.
• Return Postage: The buyer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the item received was faulty or incorrect.

6. Care & Maintenance

• Proper maintenance (such as oiling steel/chainmail and conditioning leather) is required to prevent rust and degradation. Battle Worlds is not liable for damage caused by improper storage, exposure to moisture, or lack of maintenance following delivery.

7. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.
