"A soldier's camp is only as orderly as the hooks that hold his provisions off the damp earth." Osric, Keeper of the Hearth & Forge
Crafted from solid iron at the anvil, this set of five S-hooks provides dependable utility for the living-history encampment and the rustic homestead. Every individual hook is hand-forged, receiving a decorative twist along its centre shank that reinforces the piece while displaying the traditional handiwork of the blacksmith's craft.
In the field, maintaining an organised bivouac is paramount. These S-shaped hangers are ready to support your heavy camp pots, frying pans, and cauldrons directly over the fire pit or suspended from a hearth crane. Beyond the cook fire, they serve faithfully to hold lanterns aloft on tent ropes, keep leather kit and weapons harnesses off the sodden ground, or bear garden greenery and workshop tools along domestic beams.
Their classic curved profile fits seamlessly over standard crossbars, iron tripods, framing poles, and timber rails without the need for fiddly fixings or modern hardware. Because these hooks are individually worked in iron, each carries a distinct historic character and honest forge finish suited to period re-enactment, LARP gatherings, or traditional interior displays. Keep them lightly oiled to preserve their ironwork against moisture, and these five hooks will serve out campaigns without bend or yield.
